I’m not nearly as serious as I look.

I like to have fun at work. After all, it’s where we spend the majority of our time. Outside of work…I like to have fun there too. I like to wrench on cars, ride my stupid-loud motorcycle, renovate my house, and have astronaut tea parties with my daughters. Anything that isn’t in front of a screen, really.

I’ve been doing UX for a while now. I come at it from a Human-Computer Interaction point of view, since thats what my training is. Before UX, I was a working archaeologist. Sounds glamorous? Trust me, it wasn’t. But I did bring something with me from archaeology to UX — a fascination with trying to understand people through an incomplete dataset.
